A mixture of 3-acetyl-1-[2-(benzyloxy)-4-(3,4-difluoro-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)phenyl]-5-methoxypyridazin-4(1H)-one (3.70 g), N,N-dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal (40 mL) and acetonitrile (40 mL) was heated under reflux for 6 hr. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was crystallized from ethanol to give the title compound (3.85 g).
