Procedure

0.71 g (28% by weight) of palladium on carbon at 10% was added to a solution of 2.52 g of methyl (S)-1-(2,6-difluoro-3-nitrobenzoyl)pyrrolidine-2-carboxylate under nitrogen. The reaction medium was stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere for 2 hours. The reaction medium was filtered through celite and concentrated. The residue was used as it is in the next step.
