Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from 1-(5-bromo-pyridin-2-yl)-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid and dimethylamine (2 mol/L in tetrahydrofuran) following a procedure analogous to that described in Step 2 for Intermediate 5. Yield: quantitative; LC (method 1): tR=1.65 min; Mass spectrum (ESI+): m/z=269/271 (Br) [M+H]+.
