[5-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-3-methyl-isoxazol-4-ylmethyl]-phenethyl-amine (0.055 g, 0.15 mmol), acetyl chloride (0.05 mL, 0.75 mmol), and triethylamine (0.13 mL, 0.95 mmol) were combined and stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes. The mixture was loaded directly onto silica gel and purified by silica gel chromatography (30-50% EtOAc in hexanes) to give the title compound.
