1-[4′-(4-Benzyloxycarbonylmethyl-3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-biphenyl-4-yl]-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester (0.171 g, 0.35 mmol) was stirred in THF (3 mL) and MeOH (3 mL) and 1 N aqueous NaOH (1 mL) was added. After 1.5 hours the reaction was submitted to standard aqueous workup to afford the title compound.
