1-[5-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-3-methyl-isoxazol-4-yl]-2-tert-butylsulfanyl-ethanone (1 eq.) was dissolved in THF and cooled to 0° C. Borane-dimethylsulfide (2 eq.) was added and the reaction was allowed to slowly warm to room temperature. After stirring for 2 hours the reaction mixture was concentrated then purified on silica gel to afford the title compound.
