Procedure
To a solution of methyl 4-[1-(propan-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl]-9-oxa-3,6-diazatricyclo[8.4.0.02,6]tetradeca1(14),2,4,10,12-pentaene-13-carboxylate (1.40 g, 3.95 mmol) in MeOH (25 ml) was added LiOH (2.0 N, 10 ml). The resulting solution was heated to reflux for overnight. The volatiles were removed in vacuo and the residue was adjusted to pH around 6-7 using 1 N HCl. The solid was collected and dried under reduce pressure to give the desired product (1.0 g, 75% yield) as a brown solid. LCMS m/z [M+H]+ 340.2.
