Procedure
To a solution of N-methoxy-N-methyl-4-[1-(propan-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl]-9-oxa-3,6-diazatricyclo[8.4.0.02,6]tetradeca1(14),2,4,10,12-pentaene-13-carboxamide (800 mg, 2.09 mmol) in THF (80 mL) was added methylmagnesium chloride (3.5 mL, 10.5 mmol) dropwise at 0° C. The mixture was further stirred at 0° C. for 1 h. After being quenched with aqueous NH4Cl (20 mL), most of THF was removed by rotate evaporate. The residue was extracted with ethyl acetate (3×20 mL), washed with water (3×20 mL), and sat. NaCl (20 mL). The organic phase was dried and concentrated to give the crude product, which was purified by silica gel chromatography eluting with EtOAc/petroleum ether (1:1) to give 1-{4-[1-(Propan-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl]-9-oxa-3,6-diazatricyclo[8.4.0.02,6]tetradeca1(14),2,4,10,12-pentaen-13-yl}ethan-1-one (560 mg, 80% yield) as a white solid. LCMS (ESI) m/z: 338.2 [M+H+]
