Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared according to the method described in Example 8a starting from 3-methoxy-17-(isocyano-p-methylphenylsulfonylmethylene)-androsta-3,5-diene (954 mg, 2 mmol) and ethyl iodide (4.9 mmol). Yield: 900 mg (89%), m.p. 135°-150° C.
