Procedure
To a solution of the title compound of Example D (5.0 g, 20.2 mmol) in 50 ml of pyridine was added hydroxylamine hydrochloride (1.58 g, 24.2 mmol) and the solution was stirred for 16 h at room temperature. Concentration in vacuo gave an oil which was chromatographed on silica gel eluting with EtOH/CH2Cl2 (10/90) to give the title compound (5.18 g, 98%) as a colorless solid. MS calcd for C12H20N2O4 256, found 256.
