Procedure
A solution of t-Butyl[2-{1-(3-methoxybenzenesulfonyl)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]pyridin-3-yl}-ethyl]carbamate in CH2Cl2 is treated with trifluoroacetic acid, stirred for 2 h and concentrated in vacuo. The resultant residue is purified by preparative reverse phase HPLC to afford the title final product.
