To a solution of 1-tert-butyl-3-{2-[3-ethyl-3-(3-methoxy-phenyl)-2-oxo-azepan-1-yl]-ethyl}-urea (as described above in Step A) (0.35 g, 0.93 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2.0 mL) was added TFA (6.0 mL) and the solution was stirred for 72 hr. The solvents were removed in vacuo to obtain the title compound.
