Procedure

A suspension of Example 126A (850 mg, 2.28 mmol) in ethanol (100 mL) at ambient temperature was treated with sodium borohydride (103 mg, 2.74 mmol), stirred for 30 minutes, treated with water, extracted with ethyl acetate, dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated to provide 820 mg (96%) of the title compound as a white solid.
