A 6N HCl solution (5 ml) of 24-8 (33 mg, 0.073 mmol) was stirred under ambient conditions for 18 hr. The reaction was concentrated to give a viscous gum which was purified by prep HPLC (Delta-Pak C18, gradient elution over 40 min., 5-50% CH3CN/H2O-0.1% TFA) to give 24-9.
