N-(2-Benzimidiazolylmethyl)ethylenediamine, prepared by reacting ethylenediamine with 2-chloromethyl-benzimidazole by the procedure of Example 40, is reacted with 2-dimethylaminoethyl isothiocyanate by the procedure of Example 40 to give the title compound.
