Reactant 2
Product 1
Procedure
In an analogous manner to Example 1B, the product from step A is reacted with half-concentrated hydrochloric acid to give 7-(1-aminomethyl-2-oxa-7-azabicyclo[3.3.0]oct-7-yl)-1-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid hydrochloride with a melting point of 235° C. (with decomposition).
