To 10 mgs of 2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-fluoro-1-nitrobenzene in acetonitrile was added 10 mgs of (6-amino-5-nitro(2-pyridyl))[2-(methylamino)ethyl]amine and 7 μl of N,N-diisopropylethylamine, and the mixture was heated to 85° C. over-night. After an aqueous work up the crude was purified on a silica gel column with 30% acetone in hexane as the eluent to give 6 mgs of N˜6˜-{2-[(2′,4′-dichloro-6-nitro-1,1′-biphenyl-3-yl)(methyl)amino]ethyl}-3-nitropyridine-2,6-diamine.
