Procedure
The 4-benzyloxycarbonyl-N-(1-(4-(2-morpholinoethylcarbamoyl)-phenyl)-piperidin-4-yl)-1-piperazinecarboxamide (14.5 g, 25.0 mmol) obtained in Example 15(4) was dissolved in methanol (80 ml) and THF (80 ml), and 10% Pd—C (3.0 g) was added thereto, followed by stirring at room temperature in a hydrogen atmosphere for 17 hours. To the reaction mixture, chloroform was added. After the insoluble material was filtered with Celite, the filtrate was evaporated under reduced pressure, thereby obtaining N-(1-(4-(2-morpholinoethylcarbamoyl)phenyl)-piperidin-4-yl)-1-piperazinecarboxamide (11.2 g, quant.) as a milky-white solid.
