Procedure
The compound (25 mg, 0.050 mmol) prepared in Example 24, 4-phenoxyphenylboronic acid (10.65 mg, 0.050 mmol), potassium phosphate (10.56 mg, 0.050 mmol) and Pd(PPh3)4 (11.50 mg, 0.01 mmol) were added to a small pressure tube and DMF/water (1 mL/0.5 mL) was added. The reaction mixture was flushed with argon for 5 minutes then sealed. The reaction was heated to 100° C. for 24 hours. The DMF was removed under vacuum and the product was isolated by prep-HPLC. The product was then treated with trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) in DCM for 2 hours. The solvent (DCM/TFA) was removed under vacuum and the residue taken up in ethyl acetate/1N sodium hydroxide. The organic layer was separated and aqueous layer extracted with ethyl acetate, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and solvent removed. Solid was dried under vacuum to obtain the title compound (8 mg) having the following physical data.
