The title compound was prepared from 1-(3-bromopropyl)-4-chlorobenzene (0.35 g, 1.48 mmol) and methyl 1-oxo-1,2-dihydroisoquinoline-7-carboxylate (0.20 g, 0.98 mmol) following the procedure outlined in Example 3, step 1 (0.16 g, 44%). LC-MS: (FA) ES+ 356.
