A stirred solution of tert-butyl 4-((5-(((4,6-dimethyl-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridin-3-yl)methyl)carbamoyl)-4-methyl-4′-(morpholinomethyl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-3-yl)(methyl)amino)piperidine-1-carboxylate (1 mmol) in DCM (5 mL) was cooled to 0° C. and TFA (2 mL) was added to it. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 1 h. On completion, the solution was concentrated to dryness. The residue was purified by solvent washings to afford the title compound (0.07 g, 86%).
