In analogy to example 151, step 2, 3-(4-bromo-phenyl)-1-(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethyl-phenyl)-3-o-tolyl-propan-1-one was treated with BBr3 in dichloromethane to give the title compound as a light yellow solid, MS (ESI+): m/z=420.9 [M−H]−.
