The title compound was prepared from iodomethyl 1-methylethyl carbonate (140 mg, 0.574 mmol), 1b (50 mg, 0.117 mmol), potassium carbonate (48 mg, 0.351 mmol), and tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate (40 mg, 0.117 mmol), using a similar process to that described in example 1. 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 10.29 (m, 1H), 8.44 (s, 1H), 7.29 (m, 1H), 6.77 (m, 2H), 5.84 (s, 2H), 5.27 (dd, J=9.6, 3.6 Hz, 1H), 4.88 (m, 1H), 4.56 (m, 2H), 4.40-4.29 (m, 3H), 3.89 (m, 1H), 3.65 (m, 1H), 1.37 (d, J=6.4 Hz, 3H) 1.26 (m, 6H). ES+ MS: 522 (M+1).
