The title compound was prepared from iodomethyl 2-{[2-(methyloxy)ethyl]oxy}ethyl carbonate (57 mg, 0.187 mmol), 1b (40 mg, 0.094 mmol), potassium carbonate (39 mg, 0.281 mmol), and tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate (32 mg, 0.094 mmol), using a similar process to that described in example 1. 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 10.21 (m, 1H), 8.44 (, s, 1H), 7.32 (m, 1H), 6.81 (m, 2H), 5.93 (d, J=6.4 Hz, 1H), 5.83 (d, J=6.4 Hz, 1H), 5.30 (dd, J=10, 3.6 Hz, 1H), 4.59 (m, 2H), 4.43-4.27 (m, 5H), 3.93 (m, 1H), 3.77-3.61 (m, 5H), 3.52 (m, 2H), 3.35 (s, 3H), 1.38 (d, J=6.4 Hz, 3H). ES+ MS: 582 (M+1).
