Prepared according to procedure S using 6-chloro-2-(2-methoxyphenyl)quinolin-4-ol (550.6 mg, 1.93 mmol) and POCl3 (3.5 mL, 37.5 mmol) to afford 4,6-dichloro-2-(2-methoxyphenyl)quinoline. Mass Spectrum (ESI) m/e=304.0 (M+1).
