Procedure
5-Chloro-N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-2-fluoro-4-(2-(pyridazin-4-yl)-4-(6-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-3-yl)phenoxy)-N-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)benzenesulfonamide (Preparation 58, 250 mg, 0.329 mmol) was dissolved in a 4M solution of HCl in 1,4-dioxane (0.9 mL, 3.29 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 hours and then concentrated in vacuo. The resulting residue was purified by reverse phase chromatography on the ISCO system using acetonitrile:water0.1% formic acid to afford the title compound (160 mg, 80%) as a white solid.
