Procedure

To a solution of oxetane-3-amine (4.94 g) in ethanol (60 mL) was added 4-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (6 g), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. The precipitate was collected by filtration and washed with ethanol to give the title compound (6.39 g).
