Procedure

To a solution of 1-cyclopropylmethanamine (2.34 g) in ethanol (100 mL) was added 4-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (2.92 g), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure and washed with ethanol to give the title compound (1.60 g).
