Procedure

To a solution of tetrahydrofuran-3-amine (2.94 g) in ethanol (20 mL) was added 4-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (3.0 g), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hr. The precipitate was collected by filtration and washed with ethanol to give the title compound (2.41 g).
