To a solution of N-cyclopropylglycinamide (1.22 g) (J. Med. Chem. 2005, 48, 7808-7820) in ethanol (12 mL) was added 4-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (1.42 g), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 5 hr. The precipitate was collected by filtration, and the solid was washed with ethanol to give the title compound (2.0 g).
