To a solution of (5Z)-5-({1-[2,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]piperidin-4-yl}methylidene)-4-(prop-2-yn-1-ylamino)-1,3-thiazol-2(5H)-one (1 g) in ethanol (15 mL) was added L-(+)-tartaric acid (0.32 g). The reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 20 min, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was recrystallized from 2-propanol/heptane to give the title compound (1.14 g).
