To a solution of (5Z)-5-({1-[2,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]piperidin-4-yl}methylidene)-4-[(1-methylprop-2-yn-1-yl)amino]-1,3-thiazol-2(5H)-one (980 mg) in ethyl acetate (10 mL) was added 4N hydrogen chloride/ethyl acetate (0.50 mL) solution, and the precipitate was collected by filtration to give the title compound (635 mg).
