Procedure
To a solution of the crude product containing 3-methoxy-N,N-dimethyl-L-valinamide hydrochloride obtained in B) (697 mg) and triethylamine (810 mg) in ethanol (10 mL) was added 4-thioxothiazolidin-2-one (533 mg) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (NH, ethyl acetate/hexane) to give the title compound (560 mg).
Workup
- customthe solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure
- customthe residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (NH, ethyl acetate/hexane)
