To a solution of 4-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (640 mg) in ethanol (6 mL) was added 30% ethanamine ethanol solution (722 mg), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hr. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was washed with 2-propanol to give the title compound (320 mg).
