The product was obtained starting from 1,2-dimethyl-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid 4-methyl ester (200 mg, 1.01 mmol) and 2-(1-methyl-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)ethanamine (195 mg, 1.11 mmol) according to the method described in example 7, step 5 after aqueous work-up and purification by flash chromatography (using silica gel amine phase and a MeOH/ethyl acetate gradient) as light red gum (98 mg, 276 μmol, 27.3%). MS: M=356.1 (M+H)+
