A mixture of 1-(5-(6-methoxypyridin-3-ylamino)-6-(2-methyl-6-(methylthio)pyrimidin-4-yl)pyrazin-2-yl)ethanone (25 mg, 0.065 mmol) and 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid (22.5 mg, 0.131 mmol, Aldrich) in dioxane (1 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The reaction mixture was taken on directly to the next step without work-up.
