2-propyl (2-fluorobiphenyl-4-yl)acetate (20) was synthesized from 2-(2-fluorobiphenyl-4-yl)acetic acid and 2-propanol according to a similar procedure to step 1 of Example 15. The 1H NMR spectrum of this substance is shown below.
