General procedure D was followed using 1-(3,5-dibromopyridin-4-yl)piperidine-4-carboxamide E27 (50 mg, 0.14 mmol), 4-methoxyphenylboronic acid (25 mg, 0.15 mmol), tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) (8 mg, 5 mol %), acetonitrile (1.4 mL) and 0.5 M sodium carbonate (0.27 mL, 0.16 mmol) for 30 min. The crude product was purified by flash column chromatography on silica gel (CH2Cl2, MeOH, 98:2) to furnish the title compound as a white solid (39 mg), LC-MS (ESI, 3.5 min) Rt 1.68 min, m/z 418 (100%, [M+H]+).
