Platinum(IV) oxide (2.0 g) was added to a solution of 9-(4-((tert-butyl(dimethyl)silyl)oxy)phenyl)-3,4-dihydropyrido[2,1-c][1,2,4]thiadiazine 2,2-dioxide (20.0 g) in THF (dry) (500 mL) and MeOH (300 mL) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature under H2 for 4 hr. The mixture was passed through NH silica gel cartridge with Celite (eluted with THF). The filtrate was concentrated in vacuo. The residual solid was recrystallized from THF (100 mL)-IPE (300 mL) to give the title compound (17.3 g).
