Reaction Steps
(R)-2-(5-(Cycloheptylmethylcarbamoyl)-1-oxoisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)propyl acetate (170 mg, 0.00043 mol) and Potassium carbonate (100 mg, 0.0008 mol) were stirred in methanol (5 mL, 0.1 mol) at room temperature overnight. The volatiles were removed under vacuo and the residue was purified via flash chromatography (12 g of silica gel, 0-10% MeOH/CH2Cl2) to give a white solid.
