Reaction Steps
To the stirred mixture of 9-ethyl-1-methylphenothiazin-5-ium tetraiodide hydrate (383 mg, 0.5 mmol) in anhydrous CHCl3 (20 mL) pyrrolidine (71 mg, 1.0 mmol) was added drop wise over 4 h. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight and concentrated to dryness.
