To a stirred solution of (R)-tert-butyl 2-(4-(3-cyclopropylureido)-2-fluorophenyl)-4-(3-methylmorpholino)-5H-pyrrolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine-6(7H)-carboxylate (1.1 g, 2.1 mmol) in methanol (15 ml) was added 4M HCl in dioxane (4 ml) and the reaction was stirred at RT overnight. The reaction was concentrated in vacuo to yield the titled compound as a yellow solid which was used without further purification.
