Procedure

Following the general procedure using 4-methoxyiodobenzene (117 mg, 0.50 mmol) and tert-butyl acrylate (145 μL, 1.00 mmol), the reaction was stirred for 4 h at rt. Column chromatography on silica gel (eluting with 3% EtOAc/hexanes) afforded the product as a colorless oil (113 mg, 97%).
