tert-butyl 2-(1-isopropyl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl)-5,6-dihydrobenzo[f]imidazo[1,2-d][1,4]oxazepin-9-ylcarbamate (170 mg, 0.40 mmol) was dissolved in DCM (3.0 mL) and treated with trifluoroacetic acid. After 10 min the solvent was removed in vacuo. The crude residue was re-dissolved in DCM and the solvent removed once again to provide a golden solid. The crude material was purified via HPLC to afford 480 as an off-white solid (32 mg, 32%). LC/MS (ESI+): m/z 311 (M+H). 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO) δ 8.05 (d, J=8.6 Hz, 1H), 7.87 (s, 1H), 7.75 (s, 1H), 6.38 (d, J=6.4 Hz, 1H), 6.17 (s, 1H), 5.97-5.84 (m, 1H), 5.52 (s, 2H), 4.39 (s, 4H), 1.46 (d, J=6.4 Hz, 6H)
