To a stirred solution of Intermediate 107B (1 g, 2.71 mmol) in MeOH (6 mL) was added 4 N HCl (3.38 mL, 13.53 mmol). The reaction was stirred at rt for 4 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and diluted with EtOAc. The organic layer was washed with saturated NaHCO3, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated to yield the desired product (700 mg, 97%) as a yellow oil. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.38 (d, J=8.80 Hz, 2H), 6.86 (d, J=8.80 Hz, 2H), 3.95 (t, J=6.46 Hz, 2H), 3.59 (s, 3H), 1.73-1.80 (m, 2H), 1.53 (s, 2H), 1.45-1.52 (m, 2H), 1.19 (s, 3H), 0.98 (t, J=7.29 Hz, 3H).
