Procedure

To a Parr shaker bottle containing 13F (110 mg, 0.282 mmol) and EtOH (10 mL), was added palladium hydroxide on carbon (39.7 mg, 0.282 mmol). The mixture was purged with H2, and the bottle was shaken overnight under H2 (45 psi). The catalyst was removed by filtration and the filtrate was concentrated to provide 13G (57 mg, 96% yield) as a colorless gummy solid. MS (ES): m/z=210.2 [M+H]+.
