3.01 Grams of Z-Asn-Leu-OEt was dissolved in 50 ml of methanol and 7.4 ml of 1N-HCl, the solution was subjected to catalytical reduction in the presence of 500 mg of palladium black at a room temperature, under an atmospheric pressure to obtain H-Asn-Leu-OEt.HCl.
