By the procedure of Example 4, 5.3 g of 2-amino-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine in 20 ml of tetrahydrofuran was reacted with 14 g of the isocyanate prepared in Example 5 above in 30 ml of tetrahydrofuran. After stirring the mixture at 25° C. for 3 hours, the mixture was filtered and the solid isolated was recrystallized from acetonitrile to yield 4 g of the title compound; m.p. 173°-175° C.
