Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared by a similar method to Example 8 from tert-butyl (2S)-2-[(2-[(cis)-2,6-dimethyl-1-piperidinyl]ethylamino)carbonyl]-1-piperidinecarboxylate [see Preparation 14] and trifluoroacetic acid, to afford (2S)-N2-2-[(cis)-2,6-dimethyl-1-piperidinyl]ethyl-2-piperidinecarboxamide as a gum.
