A portion (0.17 g) of the compound obtained in Example 157 was dissolved in ethanol/water (4:1) (80 ml) and to the solution was added potassium butoxide (t-BuOK; 48 mg). The mixture was heated to reflux for 30 minutes. The reaction mixture was adjusted to pH 5 by addition of 1N hydrochloric acid. Thereafter, the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. The residue was crystallized from ethanol and water to yield 0.12 g (73%) of the titled compound.
